New Start: Access to Education and Employment
New Start assists people with disabilities and newcomers to Canada to overcome barriers to employment and develop the skills they need to find meaningful employment.
New Start offers client-centered training at all four campuses—Prince Albert, Moose Jaw, Regina and Saskatoon. While the focus is on people with disabilities and newcomers, the program is also open to Indigenous peoples, women and visible minorities facing employment barriers.
The New Start pilot project runs from July 2021 to March 2022.
